This is a very important topic and touches very close to home for me as many of the young people I work with are this very demographic. Many will know from my public talks that I have had many personal encounters with suicide and that ongoing tragedy is why I work as hard as I do to create hope and change systems. Today, the Youth Climate Lab released a very important document for young people who want to address climate change at the municipal level. I hope some of the youth in Winnipeg and in other cities take a look at the impact their cities have on climate change and take action.

It's a scary world. If you're scared for your kids it means that you are paying attention. There are many questions we can ask to address this fear, but the most important one I can think of is this: What does it mean to truly keep kids safe in such a precarious & ever changing world?
