The North End Graduation Walk is an annual event that celebrates graduates from St John’s High School, Children of the Earth High School & RB Russell Vocational School. We invite the entire to community to join us as we give the grads their flowers, march them down Salter Street & finish with a free barbecue where we can celebrate together!

The North End Grad Walk began in 2022 as a way to celebrate graduates from 2020, 2021 & 2022 who had their in person graduations impacted by the pandemic. It continued in 2023 and 2024 growing in support each year including donations form Zoongizi Ode Inc, North End Community Renewal Corporation & Me-Dian Credit Union.

This event is organized by Michael Redhead Champagne, the school principals and support from the Winnipeg School Division Indigenous team & City of Winnipeg.
