North End Grad Walk 2024

You’re invited to the 2024 North End Grad Walk!

The North End Grad walk celebrates graduates in Winnipeg's North End from Children of the Earth High School, St John's High School & RB Russell Vocational High School. It began in 2022 as a celebration of grads who had been impacted by the pandemic inviting grads from 2020, 2021 and 2022 to attend. It is organized by Michael Redhead Champagne, principals from the 3 high schools with support from the Winnipeg School Division and various community organizations including Fearless R2W and North End Community Renewal Corporation.

3rd Annual North End Graduation Walk

Date: Tuesday January 18, 2024 Time: 6pm-7pm Location: Beginning at RB Russell School, concluding at St John's High School (Poster attached)

Now in its 3rd year, the North End Grad Walk is looking forward to celebrating the graduating class of 2024!

This years's walk will begin at RB Russell, move to Children of the Earth, make a special stop at the bell tower at Selkirk & Powers and continuing down Salter Street to St John's High School. Graduates will all receive flowers, the march will proceed through each of the schools, community members are welcomed to line the route to cheer on the grads and join us at St John's afterwards for a barbecue! There will be photographers, a balloon arch, a red carpet and more!
