March E-Newsletter…Is For Everyone

Today I sent out my email newsletter, you can read a portion of it out below and click to read the entire thing. There is an email typo in the newsletter about bulk orders that has been corrected in the poster below!

Since this book came out we have shared some amazing experiences together with I Love To Read Month, the Book Launch and now planning additional projects, collaborations or events in the spring an summer across Canada. I have watched delighted students and delighted adults as they experience the book for the first time, as I sign their book with my signature or (especially) as I stamp their book with an original Sushi the Cat paw print. We have made it to our first landmark of 40 books for the Gifting Books campaign and plans are underway to get our first community lined up in Northern Manitoba. The free teacher's guide is out and downloadable for educators, parents and community leaders everywhere.

I would like to say thank you to everyone in Winnipeg especially for placing my book on the best sellers list these past few weeks at McNally Robinson! I believe we can continue the momentum as the weather warms up, so can our motivation to ensure every child in our lives can find and share their gift and have a book to help them along the way.

Looking forward to all the awesome things coming up soon including more Ininew  (swampy cree) language classes, moving forward with plans for The Palace Theatre on Selkirk Avenue as well as planning for the 2024 North End Graduation Walk (our 3rd annual!).
